The Rio De Janeiro Olymic Legacy Project is based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The Olympics are coming to Brazil in 2016, but what happens when the Olympics are all over. The legacy project plans the future of the spaces and place that the Olympic were held. This project follows the AECOM 2030 Olympic Legacy Plan. Our studio took AECOM plan for 2030 and then took a small part of it to design a master plan for that area. The Master plan project was don in groups, my group members were; Don Olsen, Ethan Brammeier, and Steven Dale. The Master planning had a certain program for the space. During the master planning we had to choose if we wanted to design a residential building or a hotel. I choose to do a residential building, which then turned into eight, three and four story residential buildings.
The diagrams to the right are diagrams from my mater planning group that help explain how the spaces are used, where the program is located, etc. The diagrams consist of site plan, Green spaces, Circulation, Program Buildings, Function/ Zones, Domestic vs. Visitor Spaces. | |

| Our final model was 8' X 12' and it really gave us a chance to see our model at a bigger scale. My eight small residential are a dark exterior skin that is broken with the bright brilliant colors in the balcony spaces. There are four connection pieces that are connecting two of each of the buildings. |
Below is my final board that I presented for my final presentation. Including a detailed section, section, renderings, typical plans, diagrams, etc.
